Anyone who claims winter isn’t fun and exciting just hasn’t been to Wendego Lodge, where an abundance of snow provides excellent snowmobiling with miles and miles of beautiful groomed trails and lots of meadows with deep powder snow.
After the lake freezes over thick enough (around mid-December) you can have terrific fun ice fishing for Kokanee and WILD Kamloops Rainbow Trout. Or you can try tobogganing on the slopes, snow shoeing, or maybe help the youngsters build that snowman!
There’s fun for the whole family at Wendego Lodge! Our insulated cabins and the wood cook stoves provide warmth and comfort on a cool winter evening.
Even though we have lots of snow from late November through April, the roads are kept open year round, but chains are recommended/required.
Whether its snowmobiling out of and into your cabin, ice fishing on the lake, snow shoeing or cross-country skiing, you will find that winter at Wendego Lodge is a lot of fun.
