Notice: Due to weather conditions this year, Wendego Lodge will be SNOWMOBILE IN ONLY at this time. We have had a lot of snow this year. Call us if you have any questions. Thanks !!

Anyone who claims winter isn’t fun and exciting just hasn’t been to Wendego where an abundance of snow provides excellent snowmobiling with miles and miles of beautiful groomed trails and lots of meadows with deep powder snow. After the lake freezes over thick enough (around mid-November) you can have terrific fun ice fishing for Kokanee and Trout. Or you can try tobogganing on the slopes, snow shoeing, or maybe help the youngsters build that snowman!

There’s fun for the whole family at Wendego! Our insulated cabins and the wood cook stoves provide warmth and comfort on a winter evening, and even though we have lots of snow from late November through April, the roads are kept open year ’round, but chains are recommended. You will find that winter at Wendego is a lot of fun.
