Anyone who claims winter isn’t fun and exciting just hasn’t been to Wendego Lodge, where an abundance of snow provides excellent snowmobiling with miles and miles of beautiful groomed trails and lots of meadows with deep powder snow.
After the lake freezes over thick enough (around mid-December) you can have terrific fun ice fishing for Kokanee and WILD Kamloops Rainbow Trout. Or you can try tobogganing on the slopes, snow shoeing, or maybe help the youngsters build that snowman!
There’s fun for the whole family at Wendego Lodge! Our insulated cabins and the wood cook stoves provide warmth and comfort on a cool winter evening.
Even though we have lots of snow from late November through April, we are looking to start opening the road for the winter of 2023/2024 the roads are kept open year ’round, but chains are recommended/required.
You will find that winter at Wendego Lodge is a lot of fun.
