We’re excited to have you visit! The map at the bottom of ALL pages shows how to get to Wendego Lodge from your location. Click on the Link, Then Click Directions and Google maps will open. Type in your Start Location and then PRINT OUT directions.
It is recommended to call us as soon as you hit the dirt road so we know when to expect you. This way we will know when you are arriving as you will lose cellphone reception on the way up.

Directions from Kamloops: Using the Sawmill/Lac Du Bois Road.
(May be active logging. Road channels is RR12.)
Approaching Kamloops on Hwy #1 (Hwy #5 merges into Hwy #1)
Take Exit 374 onto Hwy #5 North.
Take a left at Halston Ave (there is a Husky gas station on the corner of this intersection).
Follow Halston Ave over the North Thompson River on the Halston Bridge.
Take a right at the Westsyde Rd Exit (it banks quickly to the right, before an overpass).
Immediately cross Westsyde Rd towards the left lane.
Stay to the left at the “Y” in the road which will bring you to a two-lane stoplight.
Go through the stop light and follow the Bachelor Hill Road into Bachelor Heights.
Keep driving until you drive over a cattle guard, then the road becomes gravel.
THIS IS AN ACTIVE LOGGING ROAD!! (Seasonal)
Use care and enjoy the drive.
You will see kilometre markers on your journey up the road.
Be careful of the turn at 13 km; do 30 km/hr when it says so.
When you get to the “Y” at 21 km, stay to your left: there is a small old, yellow sign there pointing the way to the lodge.
Follow the road to the 40 km marker where you will take a right onto a private road.
Once on this road (Flynn Road) there are a few cut block roads. Please keep right.
Follow this road for 9 km (6 miles) until it ends at Wendego Lodge on Tranquille Lake.
Take your time on the last 7km, the road is rough, but the drive is beautiful!!
Directions From Kamloops: Using the Criss Creek/Red Lake Road.

Approaching Kamloops on Hwy #1, take Exit #369.
At the second set of lights after the exit, turn left onto Summit Drive.
Follow the signs to the Airport.
Go past the Airport approximately 3 to 4 miles.
Take the Criss Creek/Red Lake Road to the right (we have a small old sign at this corner). You will go over a set of train tracks. Shortly after the tracks you will be on gravel. Follow this for 33.5 KM
Follow this road (Criss Creek/Red Lake), watching the kilometer markers as you ascend, for 21 miles (33.5 km).
Turn right at the 33.5Km marker, and follow the main road to the Lodge.
Once on this road there are a few cut block and other roads. Please keep to the right.
You will come to an intersection (after approx 8 km). Keep going straight. (We have a large sign here (6 mi. to Lodge.)

If we do not answer please leave a voice mail with the time you are leaving Kamloops and the intended route you are taking.
